These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OptionBrain platform, website, and services (collectively, "Services") operated by OptionBrain ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
OptionBrain is an options trading education and analysis platform. Our Services help users explore and compare options strategies for educational and informational purposes. Features include strategy visualization, risk/reward analysis, and scenario modeling based on user-provided inputs.
OptionBrain does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All content, tools, and analysis provided by OptionBrain are for educational and informational purposes only and do not constitute a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or financial instrument.
Options trading involves significant risk of loss and is not appropriate for all investors. Past results are not indicative of future performance. You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions. OptionBrain offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method on the applicable billing cycle.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Certain features consume credits. Credits purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable. Unused credits may expire per the terms associated with their purchase or distribution.
All content, features, and functionality of OptionBrain — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — are the exclusive property of OptionBrain and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OPTIONBRAIN AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OptionBrain and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as determined by applicable law.
